I, probably like many of the rest of you, use Google to search for nearly everything that I need.  However there are times when I know what the site looks like and I know general search terms I used to find it in the past but am not having any luck with Google.  A few months back I started using Visual Search to aid in such cases.  When I remember to use it and not continually looking through pages of Google results I tend to have pretty good luck.  The results I get are typcially on par with my query as well.  An additional feature that I like is that on the pictures of the pages that are displayed my search terms are circled or highlighted or by other means made to stand out – similar to highlighting on Google after you go to a page – but this is on the presentation of your search results prior to navigation. 

This certainly won't get me to stop using Google but I have found it useful which is more than I can say about Cuil.
