Shadowmage loaned me a copy of “The Boys” after raving about it for a while.  I haven't read a lot of graphic novels, or even comics, of which this is both – or so I think.  The story the first is what could be a long series and revolved around keeping tabs on superheroes while they are off the clock or out of the public eye.  This first installment focuses on building the back story of a group who, through a need for vengence, does what the rest of the world cannot – keep the supers in line through blackmail or violence.
