I have read much about Ron Paul, and some others, wanting to abolish the Fed.  They rarely received much support on these Bills, recently though he introduced another that would require the Fed to be audited by the GOA by the end of 2010 as well as allow more open access and audits into the operations of the Fed.

What do you guys think of this?  Is it a good compromise vs. the abolishment that was introduced in the past?
